Liatris
Butterflies, insects and birds love Liatris and so do we! Cheerful purple flowers provide contrast to daisies, and are also great for cutting. They bloom from the top down, unlike most spiky- type flowers. We’re offering four different species and cultivars, some quite uncommon in the nursery trade.

LIATRIS borealis

LIATRIS borealis
(C8) This species has a widely branched inflorescence. It grows to three feet and produces a profusion of showy flowers in late summer and early autumn. more info
LIATRIS ligulistylis

LIATRIS ligulistylis

LIATRIS microcephala

LIATRIS microcephala
(C8) This Liatris is the rock garden version. Relatively small at 2 feet, it has fine, grass-like leaves and dainty lavender flowers in late summer and fall. It likes full sun or a little bit of shade, and is tolerant of drought and poor soil. more info
LIATRIS pycnostachya 'Eureka'
